Sorry to hear mate. If you're thinking of returning, is it wise to get rid of all your gear ?. It looks pretty good equipment.
I've got the same issue with GPS speed sailing. Big/heavy cambered equipment pops my upper back and shoulder (sleeping issues, days off work, non-sustainable sport etc). But, I am playing with some lighter/smaller hybred equipment with promising results. A bit unorthodox for the style, but I can continue to progress with no sickies. Maybe reinventing your style will work for you when you are fit enough to return ?
