Simon Hansen is back in Tas and keen to hit BOL if the conditions are right so I'll be checking the forecast over the next 10 days. Forecast is best with a SW wind and 4-5m swell.
I'm sure Buzzy will be in cos he hates to be left behind and if he procrastinates I'll tell him we're holding a comp that is sure to motivate him.
Nick Pryde are you game to leave your sheep with the ram for a couple of days and come or will jealousy beat a BOL adrenaline rush.
Fluro how about it mate if we promise to be back for the Dorans Friday night lectures could you be tempted.
Brettski we'd appreciate your presence provided you can refrain from your constant chatter and just shut up for a change.
Captain Morgs da ya reckon you can get that old man off his butt and follow the spiritual calling of the BOL swell.
I could go on an on but by now you're all bored so I'll stop but only after I stir the Northern wimps who still think BOL is another country.
So kids get ready, watch the weather and prepare yourselves for the sail of a lifetime
I just got back from 2 weeks working on the coast between Temma and Sandy Cape Beach.
Slightly off topic, but last Saturday the groundswell jacked right up, and there was a decent 35knot offshore wind. (43 knots according to Graham the Couta Rocks cray fisherman when it blew his boat's window in).
Seriously, the rather largish waves peeling off the reefs and bommies, held up by the wind and with their tops being blasted out to sea, rainbows in the spray, was pretty awesome to see. Bugger I didn't have a camera.
I don't know any Simon Hansen's, but i know a bloke called Simon Pussywhipped-Hansen...
pussywhipped hey nickpryde?
Buzzy, Hansen, Houston are definite for Monday and Tues.
Our current thinking:
Sunday Shelly Point if there's enough swell (Hansen is at Falmouth so he can scout)
Monday Bakers or Low Head
Tues BOL
Anyone else up for a road trip?

Zacd we're coming up Monday and tues if you can hang around till then we can promise to a sail of a life time it's looking pretty epic for tues at BOL over 5m swell with 25 knots that's about perfect
Make sure you're there!!
This is an absolute epic forecast for BOL
The beauty of BOL is that its a reef break, so no waves to sail through to get out. See you all there
So far the crew Hansen, Artis, Buzzy, Brett, Jordon, Fluro, Nickpryde, Ant
Leaving Hobart Monday 8am, sail Greens on a 3.5m swell 3pm till worn out
Tues BOL early then break as the tide drops to be ready for an afternoon sail. Setting up for the best forecast we've ever gone up on. 25-35kt SW wind on 5 - 5.6m swell.
That's pretty big but not too big for any of us to handle.
Anyone coming over from Lonny??
Bring the cameras
Sorry Ant. Monday & Tuesday looks perfect for Bell Buoy. Particually Tuesday. Have fun down there. Look forward to seeing some pics. Try not to break too much gear!!

Have fun and take plenty of pics
It's 12.30am just arrived home after for me the best days sail in my lifetime. Set bombies out the back well over mast high with many holding up mast high on the break. Swell picked up through the day the wind dropped a little to a comfortable 4.2 - 4.7 then at 4pm went cross off cleaning it up for some amazing rides. Everyone sailed well and great to see two new converts to BOL in Jordy and Fluro
It will be hard to repeat that
That was awesome, as usual, great company, great waves, just bloody brilliant! Great to catch up with the old crew still pushing it and some new faces. Hopefully I can get back to Tas some time soon and we can do that every weekend!
