Sailed every day since Friday in a bout 18-20 with a few stronger bits. Using 7.0 all the time and swapping between 90 and 107.
Air temp around 27-28 and water 24.
First day of comp today, got a bit of Slalom started before tide dropped, then Free race in the afternoon. Should be some good photos from today.
Results and other stuff will come later.
FreeRace top 3 for today:
Byron Mcilveen NSW
Alexandra Rouys New Caladonia
Kaleb Smith Tas
After an hour only a couple hundred meters separated the top 3.
Some great drone shots where taken by local Steve Craig on Sunday of some of the guys sailing the northern run. The northern run only works on a very lowest tide. All the area you see that is dry reef is where sailing happens on the higher tide.

Well done Buzzy - great first up effort with bugger-all training before hand. All the best to you and Dave for the rest of the comp. Keep us updated on the results but no more about the air & water temp - we don't need that whilst we freeze down here . Actually, sneaked a little 1 hour + at Dorans today - air temp 15 degrees - happy with that.
Awesome Kaleb and thanks for the update. Good work Tassie GI team (Ben, Cookie, Dave, Kaleb and Paul).......
What an amazing place to sail..and the accommodation and people are awesome. Have sailed 4 days in a row and still have 2 days of racing to go.... So much fun
Well done all! Killing it up there! What a score with the conditions. Keep it up for the last day of the comp. and I bet those sunset drinks are going down a treat!
Thanks for the words of encouragement people
Have now been here 5 days and sailed 5 days. Up to 440 or something km with 2 days of sailing left to go.
Having a ball with the slalom racing, some good runs moving from last to second in a heat as well as some runs where lets say I got wet on more gybes than I stayed dry.
Very overpowered conditions today making the corners difficult,Up to 30 knots... really should have registered the 5.7. Free race ran after on the flats was amazing, Lots of great hours from the Tassie Team including the best part of a 27 from kaleb

Couple of short videos... as above there is a million magic photos on that social media site also....
Sailed to Arlington Reef this afternoon with Ben and Paul from Green Island. It wasn't at its best but still a massive area to sail over. Broke a harness line just as we headed for home but all good. Hope to do it again next year.
.
Well done getting over to Arlington guys!
What a full-on week of sailing. Back home now. Can't wait until next year!!
Team Tassie did so well. Well done lads. Glad the wind gods played their part for the Nationals sake too. And well done to the moral supporters (partners in crime) and helpers
Brilliant video Ben, thanks.
Where does that rate on places you have sailed?
Cheers, Brad.
Rates right up there mate, hard to beat not de rigging gear, warmth endless wind and sunset drinks.
