I'm in; Sailing a 35 YO Original Windsurfer. Any handicaps? Apart from my personal ones!
Great Paul
Get your friends to come
Be great to get over 20
I thought you guys were my friends! I have a spare Windsurfer OD if anyone wants a trip down memory lane.
I'll be there with a D2 board, happy to bring another OD if someone wants a shot at second place.
Clarence
Forecast is looking not too bad. 10/15 knot SE seabreeze. Temp 27 so should be a good day. I will bring a carton of beer too.
I have posted on WT facebook page that I can bring a few longboards for those who might want one, and also that PFDs will be available for a very reasonable fee from WT for the event. Please let me (or someone else) know well in advance if you would like either.
Clarence
Windsurfing tas has longboards to hire?
Are these the clubs RIOS ?, They would be good if peolpe are looking for a board.
I can rustle up about three ODs/raceboards myself, and if there were more takers I would either ask around for ODs (eg relic) or get some rios from WT.
If there are more than 3 takers I will deal with it as required.
The ODs will be hot contenders if the wind is light (and a trip down memory lane too).
Can't be at the last minute though.
The division 2 board is not up for grabs.

Short notice
Seabreeze is in and solid 15 already at 12.30pm. This is looking epic and best forecast in years...
GOOD LUCK everyone.
All over for another year. Such a fantastic day with 16 entrants. Wind was around 12-14 knots seabreeze, so not quite as windy as expected. Thanks to the Sandy Bay Regatta Association for putting up $750 in prize money. Results are in and a big well done to Will, Kazza and Ferg.
First place and back to back winner Will Short $350.
Second place Karen Robertson $250
3rd Fergus Charles $150
4th Dave Morehead
5th Allen Short.
$50 lucky door prize Dave.
Thanks Clarence who drove from Launceston. Great effort. Be good to get some more from up north next year.
Lets aim for 20 entrants and $1000 prize money next year..........
Well done Steve
Well organized great fun
Beer and pies after topped off a great fun day
So good to see the one designs

That was good fun and well organised, thanks Steve! Well done Will on your back-to-back wins! Great effort in those light winds Karen and Fergus taking out third.
Great to be involved with this event. A shame the D2 didn't get a run, but such a variety of boards and abilities on the water. Maybe a "plastic/One Design category next year? Great to see a lady and "junior" right up there.
Here a few pics thanks to Max.
Great photos. I love the photo of Kazza. Not sure if she thought she was still sailing or doing a second place celebration.
''Twas doing a boomerang Steve! No think it was a half hearted arm pump thanks for photos Clarence. Well done Will, if I hadn't been following you I wouldn't have know where the bouy was well done Fergus for keeping the pressure on. Well done everyone else & thanks for competing. Photos were by Max using my camera. Takes after the old man both on the water and in photographic skills it would seem.
