Team Oysters Road Trip III - 2016::Begin's @ 9am Wednesday 3rd February.
Now in its third year and gaining momentum with record numbers we are off again!
The concept is as simple as there isn't one.. we Look at the wind forecast on the day we leave and simply go to where there is the most wind..
If there is no wind we still go.. its just about beam, herb bread and other stuff...
If anyone would like to tag along get in touch... Its no fun at all and we think about work and mowing the lawns all the time.
Previous years videos below, We will do our best to use the same music this year also
Road Trip 2014 - Finding our feet
You know I was just thinking.
I don't like to have fun, I think about work all the time since I retired and since the drought I constantly look forward to when it rains so I can do the mowing again.
I'm your man!!!!!
Can I come too?????
Background check has been completed Rod and you in.. I hear your travelling in the main bus this year... good luck
Looks like Day 2 will take us to Hawley. Might get a light wind sail off the most northern beach today. Or landbording
Photos and updates to come, but Day 3 is taking us to Swansea for a look first, perhaps to Coles Bay this arvo or in the morning.
Maybe post some pictures, or we might assume you ended up at the Blue Oyster Bar instead...in your sailor uniforms.
Our larger than normal social abilities, which probably make no sense aren't evidence alone that we get out often enough?
We're havin a good time - only POSITIVE promotion of windsurfing everywhere we go
Doing things WT should be doing
^*in case that's taken seriously - the clowns should clarify
Year 3 done and dusted
Plenty of great food, bourbon wind and HERB BREAD with a bunch of great people.
Thanks to all that came along or called in to catch up.
Sailing Stanley on the smooth stuff, new spot at Shearwater and flat off shore wind with the Hazards as back drop...
Its all an amazing blurr but I know I would head off right now and do it all again
Remember to select 1080HD
Nice ones guys, will try to catch up for a sail with you at least once during your next year's trip!!
From the first round of photos it looked like it was all about the herb bread and not much sailing.
Looks like you had a few good sessions.
Nice video.

Many aspects Ant.. Booze definitely one of them... but its all about the herb bread
That looks like the kind of Windsurfing holiday I'm up for.
Fun with mates
Nice work boys
Certainly is fun with mates, The wind really is not necessary to being a great trip. We did get lucky with the wind this year though

Usually only video from the sessions.. everyone too busy to take photos! We could have sailed 4/4 days but got lazy and sailed 3/4
Day one epic flat stuff at Stanley - May have got a little to intoxicated before tea.
Day 2 seen a new spot for me in seabreeze conditions around Shearwater (and Land boarding) - Great accommodation and Perks called in with Beam... love Beam
Day 3 we traveled to the East Coast.. could have sailed Swansea but did 3/5 of nothing instead
Day 4 We Sailed off shore wind at Coles Bay, Super flat and scenic.. I really enjoyed that one.
Day 5 we gave the liver a break and started planning for 2017
Showed the video to the missus who, on a scale of 1-10, has 0 interest in windsurfing. She loved it. Good work Ben.
