You will be able to enter the November Hour of Power from midnight tonight.
To enter you will need to register (its free) with KA 72 and then go to the competitions tab and follow the links. Once you have entered your name will be added to the competition and all data that you enter from your gps in November will be included in the competition.

A big thankyou to Sunshine Coast Boardsports for sponsoring this event.
They are giving a 10% discount on a Locosys GW-60 gps. To get this discount just mention you are entering the November Hour of Power.

Doesn't an Open class mean it's 'open' to all age groups not just 18-34?

Hi Buzzy

We are using GPSTC divisions for this event and the Open division is 18-34. You will be able to see all competitor results on the event dashboard of KA72 to compare your results.

If you are really keen to sail in the open division please email secretary@windwanderers.org.au

The public results table for the event is at www.ka72.com/Competitions/ResultsPage/GroupId/48

Until 1 November it is showing the results from LAST November.

Note there are a couple of names missing as some people who are in the competition this year didn't actually record any tracks last November.

Is being a registered AWA member with a number enough to participate?

Cheers

A lot of discipline involved in this race.
The discipline is........controlling ones self to work and not sailing non-stop each day to get good 1 hrs. I dunno, work just always gets in the way

Go for a sail after work. You only live down the road from Dorans and the pond, surely there must be a few times you can get out there for a quick blast with longer day light hours..... JUST DO IT.....
