The forecast is looking great with the BOM forecasting 20-30 knots down at Sandy Point on Sunday afternoon. There will be a nice swell running all day, temperatures will be warm and the skies will be clear - everything is shaping up to be a classic day!
Registration and sign on will start from 10.30am opposite the shops in Sandy Point. We are aiming for an 11.30 briefing with a possible start at 12pm if the breeze has kicked in.
Remember to make sure you have signed up as a member of Windsurfing Victoria, we can take registrations on the day but it is much easier for you to just do it online at www.wv.org.au
Monday should be also good down there so maybe consider hanging around for an extra day to get some practice in before Round 3. ;)
See you all down there - should be a great day!

And you should be coming down GP now you have a power move but you would have to be in the pro division as you can loop!
Didn't have my feet in the footstraps when I landed so I can stay in B division this season....
cos I really don't stand a chance in the Open division
On the plus side, the president adjudicated that my nuts are safe now...
Forecast looks slightly iffy now! Lets hope Sandy Point proves that it really is a geographical phenomenon and is always windy!
Nah forecast looks fine, 12 knots and sunshine on windguru usually equals 20+ on an Easterly down there.
Well unfortunately we got a bit skunked... On Friday when we made the call it was looking good but then the forecast was severely downgraded on Saturday.
There were some awesome waves around and a few got out and made the most of them in the light wind.
Here is a little report from Sunday:

Thanks to everyone that made the effort to come down and hopefully we get some more wind soon!
