ITS BACK - BIRUBI YEEEWWWW!!

23rd - 24th August is the first event for the 2014-15 NSW Wavesailing season. Birubi beach Nelson Bay is the location, this is without a doubt the best and most consistent winter westerly location on the east coast.

Get out the steamers and dust off the cobwebs with the awesome new format where you sail all day with no heats, no sitting on the beach getting cold.

You'll be able to warm up on Saturday at our entertainment sponsors establishment ANNA BAY TAVERN. They are putting on a 2 course meal and drinks for the gang.

Book your accommodation at the Birubi beach holiday park, mentuion your from NSW Wavesailiong to get a discounted rate.

Wind or not this is going to be a great weekend to get away and catch up with the wavesailing crew.

Be there or else!

Awesome. There's no better spot at this time of year.
Probably just as reliable for westerlies as Gerroa is for NE'rs, and it's a swell magnet!

Yeah reports from up that way have been very promising, birubi has been doing its thing all winter and been firing

Plus around the corner is an awesome surfing spot at 1 mile.

All else fails there is camel riding.

Keen as
After watching the AWT and Tenerife I want to try a few things
Plus Birubi is awesome. I love the tourists with their tiny towels as they paddle their feet

Big swell coming early next week to get some practise and hopefully back into a winter pattern for the 23/24th.
