Snuck up to Coffs sailing on the weekend and meet most of the local crew- top bunch of blokes, great ocean / wave sailors. Had a blast, cheers for the hospitality Here's some more great footage from Gary.
Nice! Always got the surfboard and surf ski when I go there. Will take the windsurfing gear from now on. Never seen anyone windsurfing when I'm there
Nice Vid mate.
What model is the blue/black starboard?
looks like a nuevo?
Sailor is Nick Ling. He tells me the board is a 2015 Starboard Nuevo twinfin carbon, 101L. He says it turns like an 85L and can hold a larger sail, makes him look a better sailor than he is so he says. And to Phil and those with positive comments, thanks, it helps balance out the occasional negative comment from trolls. Coffs windsurfing locals welcome visitors, always good to see different equipment, skills and make new friends. Gary
No one's launched there in a decade, we now use the first carpark north of the surf club, almost opposite the BP Service Stn. Its more on-shore there but you have options to sail a little upwind to get side-shore, or skip downwind a bit to Coffs Creek which is the premier jump spot on a big high tide. This is only for NE winds. If its south its either up to Flatty or down to Sawtell. Park Beach is no good in south winds.
Any footage from Coffs is greatly appreciated! I am down there 3-4 times a year but never sailed there!
Hopefully I can take my gear down for a sail there or SWR.

Let us know next time your down this way AusMoz. Be good to catch up. Coffs was great fun- way more challenging than SWR's, and I went of a flat light wind day...
