Thank you Gaz for posting that clip.
One of my favourite spots in a southerly.

Good to see guys are still sailing up that way.
Is Dave Williams still getting out there?

Cheers

Heading up that way in late January, where do you launch from in a nor-easter or a southerly?

Adam, in a southerly launch on the northern side, take the sand/gravel track past the treatment works, there is a small carpark at the end just before you drive onto the beach, 2wd can get to this point, in a northerly, go to the southern side beside Hearns lake caravan park, again not much parking but a little bit more friendly, you can drive on the beach most of the time if you have 4wd.
Waz, Dave Williams hasn't sailed in many years, fell in love and had a few decades to catch up on so to speak, if you remember Gavin who ran the comps for a while, he's been getting back into it, has some good gear and gets out Parky or Sawtell from time to time, big Lance ive heard he may be getting back into it, believe he may have retired from reading electrical metre boxes and being bitten by dogs, living down the jetty somewhere. We have a new crew of a 1/2 dozen super keen windwankers now which is good.

Hi gary, thanks very much for the quality filming and good music. I definitely owe you a beer and a nice meal when you come up this way in march for the mal comp at kingscliff. Pat says hi hope tocatch up soon cheers gary. You have given me some great memories up three great days of sailing.

Thanks, probably won't have the 4wd with me for this trip but will definitely try and check it out.
