Hey,
does anyone in the group have any experience with the magic wave? Especially the bigger sizes (105-115). How does it compares to the freestyle wave and how good is for bump and jump? I'm planning to get a new high wolf board and I'm between the magic wave and the freestyle wave. Main goal is to get into wave sailing in the future but will start using the board just as bump and jump until I get comfortable with it.
i weight about 225lb and planning to always use the board in over 20 knots wind. I was planning to get the 105

thanks

Hey Cris, I have the 89L but I'm only 165lbs (75kg) whilst a little different to other JP waveboards it's now my go to all rounder when I travel as on the East Coast of Oz it's mostly onshore / cross onshore conditions in 12-20knots but it still goes really well in stronger winds and bigger waves. as far as cross over board from a freestyle waves definitely a great choice, Id' be leaning toward the 115L though given you a are 225lbs (102kg) a bit more volume will help you get on to waves a lot easier unless you get consistent +20knots where you sail.
Cheers, Tim
