Has anyone sailed the break there in a SW'er ? Forecast for sunday is epic windy and big swell. It's cross off / offshore and perhaps close out with size but the SW will help hold it up, but have always wanted to try sailing there. Surfing there is great fun when the swells right. I have a boat so getting there isn't an issue.

Can you share any of those pics? Id imagine the colours would have been great with the clear water and sandy bottom.

I've foiled Transits a handful of times. When it's blowing SW 20+ it's very choppy and the chop is going the opposite direction to the swell.
Best I had was big swell, light (12-14 knots) to keep the chop to a minimum which is doable on a foil but probably not on a wave board
The water can be beautiful

would probably actually make a really fun SUP sail wave in a light SW

I think the possibilities on a Windsurfer LT sailing on the wave are very good, can't wait to get there one day. The LT is essentially an oversized malibu style longboard log so will glide nicely.
