I just moved to Bunbury and want to get back into windsurfing after a 10-15 year absence. Does anyone still windsurf in Australind?

yep, but mostly speed sailing, when there's good westerly wind, so mainly Winter, a small mob can come down from Perth. There's a few locals that also sail in summer.

Australind is my local, though I must admit that I don't sail there that often these days as I wing foil Koombana Bay or go speedsailing up at Mandurah if the forecast is good. Launch from the boat ramp is good in SWly or Sly, but be careful of the sand bars. A delta fin is handy for the low tide days. Westerlies are fun, you can do nice long runs up and down the estuary. When conditions are good (tide + wind) you'll see a good mob converge at Australind, launching further north up near the caravan park. Feel free to pm me for more info
