SBYC are seeking thoughts/opinions on altering the course for Boss of the Bay, our annual event which currently runs as a straight downwinder from Port Kennedy boat ramp (long point) to the club. Two alternatives are being considered.

Either an increased length by moving the start to Secret Harbour, but keeping the downwind run. Or keeping the start position at long point, but running it as a "long slalom" with some marks that bring competitors back across into warnbro sound.
Of course, option three is that it stays the way it is.

please feel free to post your thoughts on these options, for consideration, or if you have ideas on how we can improve.

I say leave it the way it was last year. Its great as it is and its something different to short course slalom or the other events that are run during the season.

me thinks start to finish is good
no need to find intermediary marks...
