Having driven past the wind meter recently, I noticed it is situated to the East of a lamp post. Readings of westerly wind are possibly being understated due to some minor wind shadow. I bet they've closed the causeway today.

I was sailing at Safety Bay Pond yesterday between 11.30 and 1.30 with a 5.5m maxed out - I reckon the BOM readings were accurate. JJ

felt like connon balls were hitting the 4.7 i rigged should of rigged a 4.0, 4.2

Think this is the bloke that does the windsurfing series i think Would of liked to of got more pics but copped a flogging on the way out Bit beyond my capability's.

^^ dead centre of pic
now go about 10 - 20mm to the right. Tip of the mast is right on the horizon

If that is a windsurfer....?

Hey busterwa 4.2 was too big, in the end I ended up on the 3.7. Its so small you can't see it in the picture.
