I have lost count.

Pretty sure I have sailed at least 15 days of the last 16 or 17. AND that is as a heavy (muscular of course) fella on wave gear.
One was a non planing grovel, one was a barely planing 90mins or so ...but and the rest were fully lit, even overpowered, on 4.7.
I did not sail today voluntarily cos it all hurts too bad

I reckon this has been the longest run of seabreezes (in the close to Perth kinda area anyway) for at least 3yrs due to the sh!tty la nina years.

Anyone?

I agree with you mark
I've sailed so much at Safety bay fully powered from 4.7-7 over the past few months that I just picked up a 84l FW and Im a heavy guy !!!

Yep, I agree Mark, what a great January. I have gone from a sh#t sailor to a crap sailor - next step = average.

I have just returned to NSW from WA, and had a fantastic couple of weeks after a dismal start at the beginning of January. I was even overpowered on a 5.5m one day, and for me that was 35 knots! Woo hoo!

Of course, now I have left, the wind will get even better!

Thanks Glenn. I sort of cheated a bit though. I was getting on the water late, around 3 or 4 when everyone else has probably been out for a few hours.

When the wind comes in later in the day and the water flattens off its awesome!

I don't know how you managed with a 5.8 on the light days though when I was on a 8.5m!

I'm blaming you Mark for the lull in the run of strong wind in the "close to Perth kinda area" [}:)]

It has been good though - even the hot days feel kinda "old fashioned" like when I was younger. Hot and dry and then a seabreeze in the arvo. Not hot, then hotter and then a festery humid on shore breeze of the past few years.
