My wife and I are travelling along the coast of Wa and camped at Lucky bay just south of Kalbarri for a week. Great campsite and the lagoon looked amazing so I rigged the slalom gear and went for a few runs. Wind was offshore but was quite patchy behind the dunes but was a lot of fun. I think this spot would be good on a westerly so you can tuck in behind the reef. Super clear water but that seems to be WA in general.

Campsite is but you need 4x4 to get to the lagoon or a long walk

I camped there a few years ago and thought that would be a great spot for a blast. glad someone has proved it. the only thing was I thought the runs would be short but it looks ok. would be awesome in a howling SW'er.

When we camped there in March it was strong easterlies all day and the flies ........ Jesus Christ on a motorbike ! So bad we moved into town after just 2 days. Seabreeze would solve that.
