I was wondering if the Margaret River Wave Classic 2016 is still happening (Feb 6 & 7)... it doesn't seem to appear on the Seabreeze Events List.
I will head down too, i'm wondering do i need to buy the ticket to attend as spectator, or the ticket are only for who want to compete ?
Yes the event is certainly on. Tickets can be purchased at windsurfingwa.org.au and we are limited to a maximum of 40 entrants, so get your tickets soon. We have a permit to hold it on either 6th or 7th, which ever has the best conditions and we will make a call on the Thursday.
Hopefully we can hold it on the Saturday and the prize giving will be on the Saturday evening at The Common in Prevelly. Otherwise we'll be in The Common anyway talking it up for the Sunday!
Anyone can come and watch free of charge during the day and free entry into The Common in the evening.
Bought my ticket and temporary event insurance early
- but now can't attend due to parenting commitments
Please get in touch if it's a sell out as I have a spare ticket! (WWA please remove matt holder from the elite draw : ( )
