Hi guys,

The Margs wave event is happening again this weekend. The event will be at main break as usual and there'll be an after party and prize giving at Wharnecliffe Mill on Saturday night.

There'll be food available to buy and some free wine courtesy of Swings and Roundabouts and BYO at Wharnecliffe Mill and camping is also available there.

To enter you'll need to register in advance on the WWA website at https://windsurfingwa.tidyclub.com/public/events/227-margaret-river-2014 and registration closes at midday Thursday this week. Briefing will be at 11:30 for a midday possible start.

Weather permitting we'll also be running a slalom and freestyle competition at Australind on the Sunday.

Thanks to the sponsors: Windforce, Sail Repair WA, E3, Man Over Board, Starboard, Severne, Swings and Roundabouts and Wharnecliffe Mill.

Is camping at Wharnecliffe Mill free to WWA entrants or is there a fee?

Hi Stu,

Unfortunately it isn't free, but you can book at www.wharncliffemill.com.au/ mentioning you are with Windsurfing WA.

Is there a prize for the Pom getting washed best on the reef. If so, I'll put my name down

If it is as good as it was today then I think it will be a good comp. I didn't
have the motivation to sail today, but those who did enjoyed mast high
sets at times
