Anyone knows what happened to the forecast/readings for Melville Water site? Seems it's out of order .....

Probably stink boated again,I see they are at it burning up diesel with their time trials

the sensors got ran over by a boat? that sucks ... it was a nice indicator if to run down to lucky bay

It happens periodically. Usually takes them a couple of weeks to fix it.

Crazy to think that it gets run over that often - considering it is a big lit starboard cardinal marker.

Also, how can this be accurate? When the wind vane is in the pylon's own wind shadow??

thats not the bom station, bom is on inner dolphin at the end of peli point.
it gets taken out a couple of times a year normally by yachtys with kite poles etc.
i have been told the one in the picture above is a UWA station.

It's got to be a university station. you can tell engineers have wired it up.

Hurray! It's up and running 12-14knots .. a little more and I will be out there :)
