Black and white is a good way to add drama and movement into an image.
What do you think?

Hi
Photography can be very subjective so here is my 2cents, your second image is the best image out of all of them, the contrast makes it dynamic, the others are flat. In some of the images you have lost detail in the blacks but kept the detail in the whites. It just depends on what your after I think the whites need to be white with detail and also for the blacks.
That said, I think your subject brightness range may be too big, going back to film days, a negative can handle about 7 stops, printing on paper will give you 4 stops to play with, so something has to go, either the blacks or whites. It just depends on the medium of the final print, I not sure for a computer screen and digital prints for the SBR, I still have gotten the punch that you get from a darkroom print.
As for the movement, your shooting too fast, your fourth image for example is sharp. However, you could almost say it's two images photoshopped together, not that I'm say you did, but just looks that way. For example, have you ever seen a photo of motorcross bike doing a big jump and not even the wheels have movement in them, you can get the same sharpness and 1/200 as you would at 1/1000 with a good technique. Sure you can spend time in photoshop adding blur, but hey you can do the same thing with the shutter.
I guess at the end of the day would you consider the shots art, compare them side by side as colour and B&W and see which one has that punch.
On side note watch you horizons keep it up you have some nice shots.
Cheers
