bring the family and friends to try out sailing/windsurfing and JetSki rides before we get into the racing!
Do you know if there will be any rigs suitable for kids to give windsurfing a go?
There will be some beginner boards set up, with smallish rigs set up. Unfortunately we haven't been able to acquire any actual beginner rigs yet. Smallest available will be 4.2
As further note, unfortunately with the crap forecast there won't be any slalom tomorrow. Instead we will be running some short course laser (sailing dinghy) racing in the afternoon. bar etc will be open later as well.
Folks, there is meant to be a race day on this saturday, but im sure you're all aware the forecast for the whole weekend looks very hit and miss. We'll make a decision tomorrow night on whether its happening or not. Will post here and facebook.

in case you missed it, all races are scheduled on a Saturday for the season. Stay tuned on this thread and face book (SBYC page and WWA page) for updates on racing as each race day approaches.
we are currently having difficulties with our online membership renewals. We're in the process of getting this sorted out. As a result of the problem, the early bird renewal price will be available for a further two weeks. Hopefully the problem will be sorted soon. It's also possible to pay membership at the club on a race day (before racing starts) if all else fails.
For those not following on Facebook, We're looking good for some racing this weekend. I must correct an error though. This weekends racing will take place on SUNDAY, not Saturday as I've previously posted. Start time will be as usual.
