Ladies and Gentleman/Boys and Girls,
It's that time of year again.
season starts on Saturday November 5th with open day at the club, come down from 10am, sign up for the season and try out laser sailing on the pond, jet ski rides followed by windsurf slalom and TTR, first possible start at 12pm. Finish the day up with the bar being open from 4pm.
The open day will be on regardless of the amount of wind, the racing will be wind dependant.

If the forecast is correct there will be plenty.

P.S. just checked the Bom looks good a building S .Westa.we all be fully lit for the Slalom.

With a reasonable looking forecast, round 2 will be on this Sunday (the 20th of November) earliest possible start 12pm. Will post if anything changes..
For the calendar:
Round 3: Sunday Dec 4th 2022
Round 4. Sunday Feb 12th 2023
Round 5: Saturday Feb 25th 2023
Round 6: Sunday March 5th 2023
Round 7: Sunday March 12th 2023
Also for the calendar, The epic downwinder (which windsurfers dominated last year
) Boss of the Bay will be held on January 28th/29th 2023. Keep the dates free so we can flog the kites again.
Awesome event and conditions today were a lot more moderate / enjoyable than the last round which was nuking and no fun.
Just one criticism though only 3 rounds is disappointing.
Overheard someone mention it is a long way to come for only 3 rounds.
Some take an eternity to get to the start line which i think is holding up the start of the next race.
14 to 18 knots today - perfect conditions and i really enjoyed the racing.
Thanks everyone, I had a ball. Today I learnt some new ways to crash but I also got to start at the front and keep Ant honest at least for one leg. See ya all at Leeman for more fun.
