An event conceived and promoted by the Windsurfer Class Association of Western Australia Inc and hosted at Mounts Bay Sailing Club for Windsurfer Class, other non-foiling windsurfers and foiling windsurfers.

Now in its second year and incorporating the Foil One WA State Championships.

Slalom, Course Racing and Marathon for Windsurfer Class, Fin, Wing, WindFoil & Non-Foil in the Battle of the Boards !

4 days of race action and fun: Friday 30 December 2022 to Monday 2 January 2023

A new innovation this year is the use of AS yardsticks as per the NOR with designated yardsticks extrapolated from the AS yardsticks, this will only apply to an additional corrected time result for the Marathon.

Don't delay and please register before 5 pm Friday 23 December to avoid late fees.

Entry includes free entry for you (and your partner/accompanying person) to the huge New Years Eve party at Perth Dinghy Sailing Club which will be gangbusters. Huge Patrik International team entry...can you please decide and enter soonest before Friday to avoid late fees...

The Patrik international team riders from here and overseas have entered and will be the stars for this iconic event if it goes ahead. Please get your entries in today and tomorrow to avoid additional charges (plus $30) for late entries.

A decision will be made (Saturday morning 24 Dec) based on entry numbers if this event is viable as these top sailors should not have to put up with mosquito fleets and many volunteers are needed for this event over the holidays.

Patrik team riders will be using fin, foil and wing as they see fit. They will also be doing demos, clinics and giving technical advice to benefit seniors, beginners, intermediate and pros alike for all fin and foilers. This is a great warm up for other races on the calendar and excellent training , great fun and great competition which intensifies life. Please support your sport and the work of the sponsors and organisers by ENTERING NOW PLEASE WITHOUT DELAY:

Children and partners have much to enjoy in this family friendly and welcoming location. Bring them down to Mounts Bay Sailing Club to enjoy the atmosphere and ambience of this iconic event and the theatre of the club. A really family friendly site, not windblown shore facilities (cp Leeman/Cervantes) but nice shady grass, shady verandahs and clubhouse facilities, showers, toilets, bathrooms, bar, dining, plus sausage sizzle in evenings and pizza Monday evening. There is a new playground there, a nice canteen, pelican point close, shady grass, club SUPs and other to play on, it is very welcoming. Also maybe bring down some inflatable pool, water toys for your kids, there are loads of shops in Broadway, Dalkeith,Nedlands and Perth surrounds for partners, accompanying persons and children and other family.

Camping is possible also at site just contact to book, Larry Smith...larry.smith@mbsc.com.au

There is still time to enter before the start next Friday. It would be awesome if we got 40 or more boards on the start line next Friday evening, for the Marathon, with an awesome forecast projected and ordered of fresh 18-21 knot SW winds coming. Come on and show your mettle. Hopefully Ironbark Photos Lindsay Preece will produce video of the start and of the race and it is anyone's chance to shine against the cream of the Patrik team entered and ready. Last years winner FTY Windfoiler Darryl Griffiths is on board and we have a huge Wingfoil entry this year, but notably absent is Kenny (767). Where is he ?
