Planning to visit Geraldton with a friend for a month, early December till mid January.
I can only bring 3 sails, i have 3.6, 4.0, 4.4 and 4.8, 4.0 is good till <25kts, 4.4 is good till >18kts. Which end of the wind range do you have more often?

Wetsuit 2mm long sleeve shortie or 3/2mm full?

Thanks

I,m 72 kg and wouldn't do the trip without the 3.6 if you,re 80+ a 4.0 should do as smallest .
I feel the cold and would bring the springy.

Most normal people use 4 to 5 a lot
but would you rather be real comfy on the nuclear days, or sail more (cos you could still get two weeks of 16-18kn)? and if that happens, it would suck if you had the 3.6 for the one day that month. not bigger stuff

thus what size board and what's ur weight

Thanks for the info.
I am 63kg and in that case i will bring my 75lt and 3.6m instead of 4.8m. I have a 68lt too for this sail range but at least it will be easier with 75lt in light days since also my light wind waterstarts are not as good at the moment after shoulder surgery.
Perfect, i will bring the 2mm shortie just to be safe then.
Cheers

Maybe you can help me too. I'm coming to Geraldton next week for about 6 weeks.

I weigh 82 kg, have an 81l waveboard and can take 3 sails with me.

Should I take 4.0 and 4.7 and 5.3 with me
or
3.7 and 4.2 and 4.7?

I prefer to sail with a little more power.

I'd go with 4.0 and 4.7 and 5.3.
