If you've seen the news about the Worlds coming to WA, but haven't been on your LT for a while, don't worry. You do have time to get ready. About a year ago I started sailing an LT after a break from Windsurfing of 35 years. Then 10 months later I was at the Worlds in Sicily, 15 kilos lighter and although not super competitive, having the time of my life!!

Our Worlds are about a year away so why not get your LT out and start your preparation. The local fleet has World class sailors that are some of the nicest people you'll meet. You can meet them at organised WCAA events we have coming up, or at informal get togethers on the Swan River. If you need advice they are more than happy to guide you on your journey.

Come along to the State Championships in Rockingham on the 11th-12th Feb and race in the Cruiser Class. It'll get you in a competitive environment and give you an idea of what you need to work in in the coming months. We'd love to see you!

Call or text me if you have any questions.

Pete Holton. WCAA State Rep. 0409 836372.

I would like to explore getting involved. Are there locations to try or buy and ... I am closest to Lucky bay. I would like to think i can get sailing and racing.
