Has anyone seen or heard any updates about availability of the 'new' Neil Pryde Glide Swift foil wings? I put the word new in quotation marks because these foils have been released for many months, but I still have not been able to find any in shops. I am in the United States and keep hearing that they will arrive "next month". I'd like to just purchase new front wings and stabilizers and then re-use my existing masts, fuselages, and baseplates.
The slow availability is making me consider switching brands but I have a lot of NP gear and have been happy with the brand all the way back to 1991 when I bought my first NP windsurf sail. I've rented gear when travelling and tried some other brands and feel my NP HP foils compare pretty well with the others I've tried. I expect the newer Glide Swift foils will close the performance gap even more. Does anyone on this forum own any Glide Swift foils? Can you share a long-term update and compare the Glide Swift versus the previous HP or even the original blue Glide Surf foils? I've watched all the reviews I can find on YouTube but those all seem to be based on one or two sessions and feel more like marketing materials than a real review.
Thank you in advance.

Hey Flanner,

We're a shop in Toronto and will have a good selection of the Neil Pryde Foils arriving next week including the Glide Swifts which people are loving. www.silentsports.com

If you search there were some early feedback comments from a few foilers on these.
I dont have time to write a lengthy review at the moment but the swift foils are much better than previous. The HP were a big improvement on the the original 'blue' foils and the Swift is a step change again, certainly in the size I have used the most. As per the NP site you can down size compared with the HP front foils and I have used the 1000 Swift instead of the 1500 HP and it was instantly useable but better glide, speed and response. However after a few sessions I moved to the 800 swift and this has been the only foil I have used since. One or two session to adjust to the looser stability but just a great foil for speed, glide and manoeuvres. On the best days I am getting close to 50kph on this foil in the sea and use it with all my wing sizes/ wind conditions...Im 72kg without wetsuit plus or minus for ref.
