Cabrinha just launched their '24 collection with a light wind DW styled wing board, I expect we'll see the other big brands following suite. I got the 85L coming soon, I'll do a review when I've had a few goes on it. I'm not going to DW sup so very happy they have favoured a wing board design.
Great to see they are publishing weights for all the new kit too.

Looks great. Good idea to have a dedicated light wind wing board that is shorter for those of us who aren't going to downwind sup foil.
They certainly make some quality gear but can they really back up these claims and according to what poll/vote/user reviews/sales figures

It's not unusual for any manufacturer to claim their product is the best in the market, whether it's wing gear or any commercial product.
It will be interesting to see how this goes, as it is a little different to most of the other 'similar' boards out there which are downwind boards that can also be used for winging. The Swift is specifically for winging and not downwind supping
In marketing and advertising, overclaiming a little is a proof to be a good move.

Other wing-specific DW-style/inspired boards have been on the market for some time, e.g. the Amos Sultan Wing and Sunova Carver. Amongst others.

Yes, aware of that, which is why I used "most", rather than "all" similar boards are downwind sup boards. It will be interesting to see how big a slice of the market these boards carve out.

Be cautious not to be deceived. He didn't utilize cab foils; instead, he rode chubunga, much like many others in the fleet. Few team riders managed to excel with their own branded gear. Nina stood out by riding a Daytona and dominating the women's category. Seems like a somewhat ineffective racing format.

Had about 10 sessions on my 85L now. Does what the box says, gets going really easily especially if you can point it down a little bit of swell. Works best on flat days, not ideal for choppy messy conditions, this type of long and narrow board aren't as stable as your normal wider wing boards and take a bit of getting use to but once up it's super agile, the narrow width means you can tack harder and ride closer to the swell where you seem to get more wave energy. I'd go bigger than you think, not much penalty going the size up. I'm 70kg and have tried the 100L too and if I was ordering one again I'd have gone the 100L. Coming from straps it does take a few sessions to get use to no straps but you'll find you move your feet around a lot more than you think. No problem once you get use to it.
My biggest wing is a 3.5m and ride a H850 foil with mine, it gets me going in about 1.5 knots less than my short board. Interesting thing is I tried it with a 5m which I normally hate using but on the Swift it was great. You ride 3-4 inches higher above the water so tip clearance isn't a problem when pumping. It means you get even more benefit out of a bigger wing just because you can get a better pump.
I've started using a 75cm mast with it too, bit less drag when getting going and water is usually flat so length isn't an issue.

Great info thanks. Hoping to demo the 85. No 100 around. I weigh 85 kg. My main board is 48 litres so going 100 litres as you suggested seems like a lot. I will be in flat water as well as chop. Why do you say you would order the 100 if you could do over? Easier to stand on? Less dunkings? What is the penalty of the 100 over the 85?

Have ordered the 85L 5'8" x 19". Should arrive next week, can't wait to try it out. Looked at a lot of different mid lengths but the dimensions of the Swift seems to meet what I am looking for.
I have a 100L 6'6" x 21.75" Sunover Aviator DW Elite for light wind winging and it works well but don't love the extra length when on foil so can hopefully sell this and just use the Swift for light wind stuff.
