Hello friends
For big dude of 110kg, what is the difference in "take off" speed between gt2600 with ar. Of 6.8 and high aspect 2000 cm2 with AR. 10.5?
Actually the issue is low wind using dw board with ha foil or normal 140liters (f-one) with 2600 ma. foil

Cheers

The 2000 HA foil will have significantly less drag than the 2600 MA. The same is true for a narrow downwind board in comparison to a "traditional" (wider) 140 l board. Therefore, the DW-2000HA combo should reach take-off speed more easily than the 140-2600MA combo. But water conditions, skill, and board details all matter, too. Beginners might find it very hard to impossible to get up and stand on the dw board, especially the very narrow boards or when there is any chop.
