Hey Wing Foilers,
This is the weekend I plan to wingfoil 55km on Sat ot Sun to raise funds to support homeless kids at Stepping Stone House steppingstonehouse.com.au/. I know this distance is bugger all for a lot of rock stars but I am still beginner, fall in most gybes and don't use a harness yet! Plus its gonna be cold and miserable if that raises any empathy in you 
I know its hard to fathom from our place of privilege where we can even afford to buy foil gear, but these kids are genuinely in place of poverty often with the most challenging mental health issues as a result of horrendous trauma.I spoke to one of our kids last week and he begrudgingly admitted to having eaten lentils every day for 3 weeks as he was so low on cash.Please sponsor me for this great cause if you can. Even the cost of the coffee would be really appreciated.Plus if anyone else fancies it, please register and shoot for what ever goal you like any time in June and ask people to sponsor you for this very very good cause. The event closes 30th June so there is still time.
Last but not least, in May 2025 we plan to create a nation wide wingfoil and windsurf fundraiser for this same cause with prizes for the best performers in terms of distance and funds raised. Watch this space.cheers
