Hi Team, I'm experienced at both wing foiling and tow foiling in the surf. My family and I are heading to Bali in September. What's the winds like to wing foil (preferably in surf) at that time of the year. It'd be great if anyone has any suggestions of the best wing foil and tow foil spots in Bali at that time of the year? Also suggestions for jet ski hire for towing would be much appreciated. Just trying to lock in where to stay. Cheers in advance B

there is jet ski hire in sanur at the end of the pier near the jetty in the channel but it's exxy as. maybe you could negotiate. we just towed okay point today from the rip curl surf school for 65 bucks for an hour. Was okay for two of us as we can both foil but i wouldn't recommend going out with a noob as you'll be waiting a while to be picked up again (like we witnessed whilst out there). We just cycled through no probs.

I'm here in Sanur now and wind has been very light. Decided to give tow foiling a go. Everything for towing can be hired for $80/hr. Dinghy, experienced driver and board with foil. I was told if you bring your board and foil, the dinghy hire is $60/hr. This place is epic for tow foiling and will become a regular destination for me. Everything can be organised through the kite school. My driver's name was Komang and he had me up and riding waves, with no tow or proning experience.

Awesome thanks for your thoughts and experience. I love my tow foiling so if the forecast is light I might just bring that gear over. $60 / hr would be well worth the entertainment. What was your mast length towing? I normally tow with 93cm mast but worried it might be a bit shallow for that. How did you find it? cheers B

It was plenty deep enough for a 93 mast. The mast I used was 78cm. I'll be setting up myself for a few trips here with my own gear in the future. I normally wing a 85cm mast but will look at 75-80cm for here.
