I just noticed that Boardseeker now requires a subscription to see any of their good stuff. Its about $100 pa for the full deal. I guess the advertising couldn't pay for it. Could be the beginning of the end ... another one bites the dust?

Notwal, try going onto their web page feed back site and poke a bit of heckle at them about it, and watch them get all fired up
Ed blows a gasket if you challenge him.
Think your right, lot of us followed the info on this site prior, but now its pay per view I reckon a good paaaaacentage have given it the heave ho since and no longer find it that informative

Boardseeker ran a whole bunch of polls to see what the readership wanted and it seemed that everyone wanted more vids. Of course, they didn't realise that would mean they'd have to pay for it.

RIP boardseeker

Agreed

It dosn't really offer anything worth paying for - I'm certainly not going to pay for what was free b4, or adverts. for that matter.

It's been deleted from my Favourites

you'd buy a video or a magazine.
it's not that bad that you have to pay to view the video. the info is still free, and someone needs to pay for all that bandwidth.

Unless you pay for it you don't know if you are missing out.

i wouldn't mind seeing the indo video with Scott M.

magazines don't really have anything worth paying for but we still buy them.
It's not so bad that you have to pay. If they don't make money out of it, it would die anyway.

So why don't you pricks pay up and support a part of the industry. or stop bitching, or start your own decent web mag that we can all read for free. with video.

I am a subscriber to Boardseeker.

In my humble opinion it is money well spent. There is so much video footage in each issue it is like getting a new current dvd each month.

Since putting a subscription in place I think they have increased their video content.

And no, I am not on commission.

I subscibed to Boardseeker when they were giving you 2 DVD's full of good varied action from around the world with your subscription. Have found most of the video action in the mag great, but you can't beat seeing some Aussie action - the stuff you guys with cameras are posting is great.
