Draft Boating Zone Review - Have your Say!!

Parks Victoria has released a Draft of the Review of Recreational Boating Zones for Port Phillip & Western Port and are seeking feedback prior to finalisiang their recommendations. See the link http://www.parkweb.vic.gov.au/3zones.cfm

KBV would recommend all Victorian kiters review the zones as noted and provide comments back to us so we may make a collated submission.

We would also suggest that if you have a particular area that is of concern to you that you make a direct submission to Parks Victoria using their Survey Form as per the guidelines provided on their Website.

Whilst some kiting areas have been more clearly defined or increased others have been restricted or not recognised.

For KBV to draft and collate a submission please have your comments to KBV using the KBV Website Contact Us Tab by Monday 1st December 2008.

Is someone able to advise whether KIBV put in a submission (if so, what was the content)?

Also - does anyone know what the next steps are, incuding timing?
