I have started this thread for those interested in wing masts, solid sails, and various other combinations of these.
As there seems to be quite a lot of interest in the subject.
Just trying to keep it in one spot rather than scattered through out seabreeze.

a double skin sail with an inflatable tube inside to make the wing shape.
Mind you i do like the concept of a padded sail 
tried that years ago with french widsurfer sails was a waste of money then and nothings changed much since then, all pipe dreams as for wings yes have had a dvd for the last 6 mths ,very interesting
