It’s thanks to these guys that the Naish surf shapes are so so good in the stand up paddling game. Beau Nixon puts on a superb show of stand up paddle surfing in Brazil for the Stand Up world tour earlier in April, and then at the Wadi Adventure Wave Pool in Abu Dhabi.

Capturing it all from his paddle, his board and his hand, we get to watch as he slashes the murky but perfect waves in Brazil, then the crystal clear pool water in Abu Dhabi. Check it out!

Beau’s coming 9th in the Stand Up World Tour right now, a position he’s hoping to improve on in the upcoming Tahiti Pro this month. Last year he finished up in 5th place over the 2013 season. With the likes of Mo Freitas and Kai Lenny above him though, he’s got his work cut out for him. Lets hope this Aussie stand up paddler from the Gold Coast can claw back up the rankings for 2014.
