Poor dolphin, he was just having a surf during the Vintner's Surf Classic in Jongensfontein, South Africa. He pulled in, lined up the lip and then BOOM!

Stand Up Paddler in the face…

This is why we love the modern age of video cameras in everyone’s pockets, someone just happened to notice the dolphins in the lineup and panned over to film them. Meanwhile a stand up paddler was probably basking in the glory of his session, pondering why nature chose him and him alone to display this incredible surfing feat to. That pondering only lasted a few seconds though, because one of those performing dolphins surfed right through his board and knocked him into the water.

You can surely relate to thrashing around in the water with the Jaws soundtrack playing in your mind. Despite telling yourself not to think about it, any kind of big fish in the water is scary stuff. The poor stand up paddler probably paddled straight in to change his wetsuit after this…
