What influences your avatar selection?
Why do you have what you have.

baaaa.... baaaa....

I've been using a pic of Wally Cox lately. Remember him? He played a memorable role in that 60s comedy "The Adventures of Hyram Holliday".
He played a feckless incompetent weedy little dork who had all kinds of spy type encounters and prevailed by pure arse. I identify with him antithetically both by name and nature. But why a little Big Bird? I dunno. Maybe its an antithetical(there's that word again)expression of solidarity with our troll.

I just thought I would show how much of a geek I am!

Was tempted to put a darth vadar helmet on the kite dude in my avatar but mum said from above the attic I live in - you wont make friends doing that and dinners ready.

I never knew Gandalf was a big yellow (huh hmmm gay) bird

BTW, I thought that was Gandalf in your old one... but when I searched for that image, I couldn't find it!

I'm a strong advocate that your avatar should compliment your alias, a bit like brand recognition in advertising. My user name was originally intended to be a play on the words "not bored", but I have since noticed that it could possibly be interpreted as a board belonging to a very speedy windsurfer. A chose my avatar, a picture of a 'reef knot', as it has nothing to do with either of these, although it maintains a relationship to the alias through distinctly nautical connotations.

Elmo was given to me when I took up stand up surfing.

They all reckoned I looked like Dancing Elmo when I finally managed to stand up wobbling around.

When i see her in the morning she is as beautiful as a butterfly emerging from a cocoon.
Her smile is as fresh as crisp morning dew
and her ass is as shapely as an oblong.

Hey Rellie,
This girl of yours, she's not the love child of Mal Meninga and Natasha Stott Despoja, is she?
