How long have you had it and who did the installation? I agree that interchangeable system would be way better!

The product that is promoted by Tom Carrol is a Fin system that Shark Shield are hopping to make. Its at least twelve months away but if you read any info on it there are a few issues straight up. The idea of a interchangeable system would be great and it seems like the Fin model will be, but in reality you still need to fit a base under the rear kick tail pad. So its not really that easy to move board to board.

Also the fins being so close together will not really allow for a very big electrical ark. Also Dave from surf safe did look into a fin based system but two major issues are the fins lost all flex but also fins are often the first part to sustain any damage.

A lot of people on line have Surfsafe fitted. Many from on line. Best would be to call them directly..

Dave at Katana fitted it, he's the guy in the video from surfsafe. I've had it about 3months.

Mocha from a use point of view, do you charge it overtime you go out, and do you charge it the night before

It last for about 15hours when wet so I remember roughly how long each surf was then recharge when needed. It only takes about 2hrs to charge so yeah I usually do it the night before. You can't overcharge it but constant recharge when it doesn't need it can damage the battery and shorten its life.
