Majority of ^^^ posts, further confirmation that if it's on the t.v or coming from the govt....it must be true

Never mind about the 3 million dead since 1991 in the occupation of Iraq, all fabricated on myths.

Yes,this Swedish professor just another wacko on the interweb.

If you're a true believer of what you're taught to beLIEve,should have no problem buying/renting a house on or near one of these mobile phone towers.

I think therein lies a difference between you Peter and most others....... most other people are more subtle in their understanding of events and issues. Whereas you see the world as right/ wrong , black/ white. Other people have a more nuanced understanding of things. EG. The war in Iraq is a terrible war built on false assumptions, incorrect intelligence, and a desire to finish what was started in desert storm 1. In the process we've become involved in a far greater struggle. The result is many Iraqis have died. but to say the war was TOTALLY wrong would be stretching the truth. overwhelmingly crap yes but most people can balance, and weigh up difficult decisions........ it's complicated. This goes to your cl;aim about seeing things on the TV and believing them TOTALLY. No one does that, most people are way more sophisticated than that........ apart from you. It seems that you're the only one that believes ANYTHING that is on those wacky sites that your always quoting, Your the sheeple mate

I'd put it slightly differently... most people understand that soldiers fighting in Iraq are not going to cause your mobile phone to fry your brain. Peter on the other hand apparently does. Thereby showing he is a total wacko.

I've lived in this house over 25 years now. Probably 10 years ago, Optus put up a tower on top of a nearby hill - maybe 1 klick away. Used to get virtually zero reception on the Optus network before that... now it's no problem!

So I think the answer to your question is "yes" peter.

does anyone remember the name of the building in melbourne cbd where 7 staff got brain tumours within a 3 year period after a telcom tower was built on the roof?

they worked on the top level of the building, right under the tower...

Do you remember it? Definitely no. Is this one of those urban myths? Probably yes.

Off topic, but Nasi - your avatar George is one of the funniest characters around. I reckon fonejacker & facejacker are sensational! Also love Terry Tibbs!

Oh yes, I would sacrifice my health for better phone reception anyday. I hate when my mobile drops out. LOL

id get a phone mob to put 1 up in my back yard no probs, id make good $ and id get to sue their pants off if the unlikely happened and it fell over!
as long as i didnt climb it and fall off (or stick my head in front of them microwaves) i know id be fine.
id be more worried about chemtrails (please no more pm about this stuff ok?). btw, why would you bother with chemtrails when cigarettes and booze does the job already??

No urban myth except :

It was not in Melbourne, it was in Toowong Brisbane

It was the ABC building

It was not brain turmours, it was breast cancer

It was not 7, it was 16 cases of breast cancer plus 12 non-cancerous diseases

No new equipment has been installed

There was no mobile phone tower anywhere near

There were satellite and microwave dish transmitters on the roof, and plenty of electronic equipment in the building, but the investigation found all levels of everything to be inside normal limits and not higher than anywhere else, and no different to any other of building of a similar nature anywhere else

The ABC did abandon the building

Nobody has ever been able to explain the reason for the occurances.

Maybe it was just bad luck and a blip in the chance / frequency equilibrium

Would I go work there for 8 hours a day - no thankyou.

Is it proof we are being cooked by the illuminati in an attempt to sub-due the masses ? I'll let you decide the likelihood of that.
