This album has BLOWN ME AWAY!!!
It's been on repeat for the last week. I'm putting it up there with:
K&D - K&D Sessions
Tosca - Suzuki
Burial - Untrue
Similar to Flying Lotus but much smoother and more approachable.
...If you know those albums you get the picture.
Note 1: The snares and such have heavy swing or stagger, you won't like it at first, then you'll like it, then you'll just hate it like you did originally ...then it sticks.
Note 2: There are almost subliminal layers. Really quiet and way up the frequency range. All those little pops and cracks are syncopated to the beat. I didn't notice until I cranked it up one afternoon. Uber trippy. Get a good hi-fi.
Note 3: Better under the influence. Duh.
Works much better as an entire album, this is the most radio friendly track I guess.
