I've just had to move office (unfortunately temporarily) and the new one actually has a view outside

The view is of a crappy carpark, but its amazing how looking outside can improve your day.

How about creating some envy and showing us your daily "view"

my old view

I work in an underground bunker so there are no windows. If there were I guess you would see dirt and maybe some rocks. Most probably there would be just concrete.

At least I will be safe when the terrorists detonate the A Bomb.

My old view, I used to get very edgey when I could see kiters out at Peli and Melville.

My new view, which isn't quite as spectacular on its own, but some spectacular views walk past occasionally.

Before anybody gets carried away with view envy, as GreenPat says, those with an eviable view envy those in the view. Or in other words, the view is worth squat when everyone else is out on the water enjoying it. Being able to see everyone else having a blast just rubs it in.

Hey, that's mine as well, well almost, I'm a couple of hundred metres west. (right)
I hate it when I can see the crew sailing at Peli & Melville while I'm stuck inside.

Well I've just discovered that my colleague in the corner office next to me doesn't just get nice views walking past, a lot of them use his one way glass window as a mirror to adjust their hair and clothes. If only they knew there was a team of mining engineers on the other side of the glass greatly amused...

Gold

The Cairns Lagoon has a Police beat over looking it with one way glass so they can keep an eye on things, the great thing about that is it's next to the female change rooms. The girls like to come out in their swimmers and stand in front of the mirror and do a few ajustments
I'd say they have the best office view

Almost as good as your carpark view:

I used to work in the Optus building at North Sydney and had the same view. It is very distracting when you can see whitecaps on the harbour and know it was blowing at least 25 knots and you were stuck at work.

It was also amazingly compelling to watch ships as they come into the harbour. You would even see SAS(?) guys running around in black inflatable boats and the occasional black helicopter...

I went from an ocean view (where i could actually see woodies off in the distance) to the inside of a concrete explosion proof bunker. To rub salt in my wounds, my concrete bunker is only 200m from the beach.

I have no idea whether it is sunny or raining.

This sucks.

Working three jobs at the moment, this is my favorite workplace. Not to mention the fun I have getting to AND from work...
Downside for me is no internet and no mobile reception
Upside for you is no annoying Susie posts

There's a couple of nice looking machines parked in front of my office today.
