Cheers for the replies and PM's...
Renault Trafic is leading atm. Budget is around 25k$ now I think.
Looks like I should be able to get one with less than 50,000km.
Wish I could find one with the lifting tailgate, instead of the barn doors.

Barn doors suck. A mate got a lift back traffic from a dealer in vic called "melbournes cheapest vans" check out their website, lots of.stock, reasonable prices, fly down and drive hone

Had a look on that site @surfer62. Bit priceyer than the ones on Carsales.

Got a question for the brains trust. Buying a car that is under finance, is that nightmare and to be avoided? Or a good negotiating point...

I have just ordered my Mercedes Vision van, should be delivered soon. I'll check the specs on the drones I ordered for the roof. Just need to do a fit out.

Question for those on the East coast.

Van Vs 4wd, with a maximum budget of 10 grand.

I say east coast because I think a 4wd would be the go on the West coast, but I'm not sure one is needed over this way.

Van would get bogged a lot quicker, but cheaper so you could pay for a toe :)

I have no idea why, but I got a good chuckle out of that..

What I mean is, would you take say a landcruiser with a bed in the back over a van, purely for the 4wd factor? Would love a troopy with the best of both worlds, but I've already got a rust bucket and don't need another with my crappy budget.
