The gaps between those buildings are all parallel.

If the earth was a ball, the tops would be further apart from the bottoms.

I cannot see it in that photo of Chicago. I take this as clear evidence that 5G caused Covid.

Case closed.

Yeah, you're right FN, I can see how it really would have been a struggle to navigate through all them much higher buildings.

To be fair though PSJ, navigating couldn't have been easy - the thermal exhaust port is not much bigger than the plane and it was the only way to ensure a complete structural collapse.

I found thses pictures on the internet to prove it :

Pre-coffee brain fart for the morning.

There are those who can speak to a topic (skeptical and critical thought in this case), those who have a good sense of humour about a topic and those who are in clear need of help for whatever the fu#k it is that ails them.

Better out than in! Have a good day everyone.

Do you understand why people are taught to shoot at a body and not the head? There is a reason for that.

I think you are doing your best to prove my suggestion that you have an aim, and will use whatever logic to get there that is needed.

I have never flown a plane. 1000kph is very fast and things go past really quickly. A 300 tonne plane is going to take time to turn, it is going to take time to change any direction. You think driving a car at 100kph is easy right? Well, turn it into a semitrailer and multiply the weight by 300 times and see how easy that is.

I think pilots would have been impressed that both planes hit the towers. Clearly people that have trained to do so.

Psychological benefits of believing conspiracy theories

Highlights
- Despite their negative effects, many people find conspiracy theories appealing.
- Conspiracy theories can be rewarding by providing a sense of meaning and purpose.
- This meaning and purpose sparks feelings of importance, legitimacy, and excitement.
- The benefits of conspiracy theories are likely a form of instant gratification.

The rest of society changed and you didn't. It's a very common occurrence. Human history is littered with those who refused to accept the times and social norms in which they lived. If it makes you happy, run with it. Just don't get worked up when everyone else doesn't follow your lead.

What's your point? Families don't always see eye to eye on ideological matters? Being rigid and uncompromising in relationships will tend to have the result of driving people apart and was happening a long time before the COVID pandemic.

Just have a bit of time on my hands this arvo. Strange how creating a few sentences to articulate or defend a position is regarded as getting worked up. I'm sceptical one liners or memes convey a more considered mind or any form of critical thought.

Yeah, I think for someone 'living the dream' Myscreename comes across as a bit angry sometimes at trivial things. It's probably why there is the bromance with Crack and Talk.

I doubt that anyone really gets worked up about anything on here. It is just chatter between people that largely don't know each other and are unlikely to ever meet.

As for the original bit about families and differences. My brother appears to believe in vaccination being bad and has started talking about US politics. For someone that has never taken any notice of science, paid little attention in school, and has never had any intellectual discussions on politics of any form, I am a bit surprised.

As long as it doesn't affect me I don't care and I have already learned the art of shutting down discussions or changing topics deftly when I hear even a slight hint of conspiracy theories. For this last part I have to thank conspiracy theorists in general; you have taught me something, or at least made me learn it.

I was day dreaming this afternoon, and thought about you deliberately not dreaming of a view of the ocean, as you and your relatives believe its boring.

We need more people like you and your relatives in Australia, angrilly punching information into water sports forums. As this helps people like me to secure homes with ocean views for less money.

Good on you for living the dream of a seabreeze a few houses back.

Yeah, a few houses back. It doesn't sound as grand, but I am happy. The place I was looking at had excellent views, but needed a lot of work. i think I would have had my work cutout for me in doing that. Instead, I spent the money on a few investment properties and bought a more modest house. For me it makes sense, but probably not for you.

Seriously though, where I live, in summer the seabreeze can be too much, even as you say, a few streets back. On the water, no those guys just get all the rubbish blowing into their yards. Great views though, but I can get those by walking a few hundred metres or driving 5 minutes.

Didn't someone one here recently say something about not worrying about others ideals or wants, or something like that? I think that guy had the right idea.

My relo's house was sold for a lot of money to some rich person from Sydney that was dreaming of water views. Good on them. I can understand it.

Fair enough, Just don't get worked up about the people with Ocean views. They were probably luckier and made better life choices than you. Comparing your life to the people upwind from you is the thief of happiness.

Nah, I don't get worked up about ocean views. That was sort of the point of my anecdote. I had an opportunity to buy a place with one and decided against it for something I felt better about. Purely a personal choice. I have great neighbours where I am now and for me this can make the difference between living somewhere great or not.

Everyone has different circumstances and upbringings. There is no need to compete. It's not a race or a competition, well at least it shouldn't be.

I have made a few choices in life where I could have made much more money. Choices are what we make at the time with the information we have at hand. Whether they are good choices or not is only decided later.

Aussie 17 ?!??!? Wow this place really is turning into 4chan

Im amazed anyone at all has gone to a website called aussie17

Or anything 17

Infact i would put money on the table to suggest that they have explicitly chosen a VERY dubious sounding website name much like how the prince of nigeria scam works. The way it works is it filters out all the sound of mind people no one in theyre right mind would think the lrince of nigeria needed some financial help and would reward them with millions.

Just like no one in theyre right mind would ever go to a website called aussie17

Whats next asian16 ?

Bulgarian15.com ?

(Dont know if these are real websites literally just trying to come up with something as sus as aussie17

And just so you know anyone can make ANYONE say anything with ai and audio now where do you think all the joe rogan cigarette lighter comercials came from.

You oldies are in for a wild ride if you believe anything on the internet deepgram.com/ai-voice-generator

Okay so i dove a little deeper and apparently

Aussie17 has been associated with some controversies, including:

1. *Hate speech and offensive content*: Some users have reported encountering hate speech, racist, sexist, and homophobic content on the forum.
2. *Harassment and bullying*: There have been allegations of users being harassed, bullied, or trolled on the platform.
3. *Misinformation and conspiracy theories*: Aussie17 has been criticized for allowing the spread of misinformation, conspiracy theories, and pseudoscience on its platform.
4. *Privacy concerns*: Some users have raised concerns about the website's data collection and privacy practices.
5. *Moderation issues*: Some users have reported inconsistent or biased moderation, leading to accusations of censorship.

It's important to note that these controversies may not be representative of the entire website or community, and that Aussie17 may have taken steps to address some of these issues. However, as with any online platform, it's essential to exercise caution and critical thinking when engaging with user-generated content.

So essentially its seabreeze where everyones pete ? Pc?

There are approximately 50-100 notable voice AI generators, including TTS engines, voice AI platforms, AI-powered voice assistants, speech synthesis software, and AI-generated voice startups. However, this number can vary depending on how one defines a "voice AI generator" and the scope of the count. Additionally, new voice AI generators are emerging, and some may be less prominent or still in development, so this estimate is rough and evolving.

I know this has been in the media all morning, but doesn't anybody make mistakes? You watch the clip where he introduces the president with the wrong name and then fixes it up.

I for one make heaps of mistakes, especially when talking infront of crowds. Is a presidential candidate required to be perfect?

I suspect that Biden does have some slowing down, but I am not sure this example really changes anything.

But politically it probably makes sense to replace him with a new candidate, but that would be a difficult one. Biden would find it awkward to step down, but for the sake of the party it would make sense.

Can they quickly give citizenship to SloMo and take him?

Dunno why you'd wait for Slo-mo,

KRudd is already over there on the tax payers expense doing ambassador type things. Ambassing this, ambassing that, eating Ferraro Roche. Well, unless he is currently somewhere else fluffing up Julian Assange's pillow and making him a cup of warm horlicks before beddy-bys time. Couldn't he step in,give the sauce bottle a fair shake and say sorry to somebody or something ?

Maybe Julia could even give him a special vote of confidence like last time, and just like all Joe's buddies are doing right now. Poor old-Joe, his reflexes are so far gone he won't even feel the knife in the back.

Biden corrected himself quite quickly, something Trump would never do.

Having said that, Biden is old and should not be president going forward. Democrats should have been setting up Kamala,or Newsome, to take over two years ago.

One of many differneces between Biden and Trump is that Biden is prepred to take advice from experts around him. Trump is a low IQ/ignorant/racist/misogynist, liar. Similar to, but not exclusive of... or inclusive of... Pcdefender, Psychojoe, Tequila !, Psychojoe, Japie, Hoppah, Snoidberg and TonyAbbott.

Oh my god, how did American politics end up on a thread about skepticism and critical thinking. Nikki Haley would be the next US president if Americans were capable of skepticism and critical thinking.
