Surprised no-one else has started a thread yet.
I don't like Apple products (as the other mods will attest), but I have a lot of respect for what he did. Rest in Peace Mr. Jobs.
He did very well in life, that should be celabrated RIP
BTW I think the iPhone4 is awesome, thanks Steve
Never owned an Apple product but they always produced something worth taking notice of - Apple II, Macintosh. Not always good. Anyone remember the Newton?
Sorry to hear about your dad doggie.
Doesn't matter who he was or what he built, to his wife and 4 kids he was a husband and father who died well before he was supposed to.
I feel sorry for them. Their sadness will last a long time.
The puns are funny and I reckon he'd laugh at them.
Shame on you Whippingboy, you are insensitive and a coward.
Maybe iKarma will pay you a visit after that comment.
RIP mr jobs!
hey hang in there Doggie - my old bloke had prostate C op about 10 years ago and it flared back up recently due to the amount of scar tissue they left behind,it's affecting his bladder movements bad - mate best you can do is some of the bits n pieces around the house for your mum but just be there ,,, I do hope she's coping ok too btw u know what I mean I'm sure mate!
My aunt died from pancreatic cancer a few years ago. It was very horrible and a terrible way to die. She was only about 55 too. My mum, her elder sister, took it quite badly.
I've never been a fan of Job's business practices as I thought they were always about money, ie having Apple USB cables with a little ridge on them so mechanically they can't connect to non Apple USB cables. Plus changing the voltages of the expansion slots so you had to go and buy an Apple expansion card that cost three times as much as the standard PC card.
It will be interesting to see how Apple goes. Clearly Apple is more than one man. They have a bunch of clever and experienced people working there.
