Id be contacting them and asking if it could be paid over 6 months otherwise I'll change providers. 
Or ask them if you pay in cash is there a discount?? Be interesting to see what response you get. 
It was 20 years ago but I heard about someone that overpaid their power bill by .01 cents every time, finally someone from accounting called him and begged him to stop doing it :)
