At the moment I have to try an trade "family time" with "water time". Seems like every weekend my kids have to go to a birthday party or relatives want to visit. I can't get away at all!!!!

So Liz and Pat, you guys should consider yourselves lucky to be able to get out as much as you can.

(not that I regret being married or having kids)

Yep - I can relate to that chookster!! Every other flippin weekend is a fairy bread fueled extravaganza of hyped up future ice-freaks with no better idea of fun than to crack one of the fathers staring at the trees right in the Jatz crackers!!

Wouldn't you know it my yougest had his 3rd birthday on the friday arvo a few weeks back when the 1st genuine SW arrived in Perf!! Love that kid - but he's lucky I did't hock him off to one of the clucky sans kids women there!!

Sigh.. was a crankin breeze and several glasses of vino and copius fairy bread did naught to distract me from the sound of the leaves..

Still no kite since April.. Tomoz - oh please tomoz!?!

That would have been Friday September the 5th, we gave away a pair of sunnies to Shear Tip for the breeze the day before. I had the day off and had a ripping session at Scarbs while you were doing battle with fairy bread, then went straight to New Zealand that evening for a week of snowboarding.

Tomorrow: you and me buddy, downwinder.

No christmas card for you this year Pat. The snowboaring bit reaaly rubbed the salt in too..

Yep - the 5th is his pop-out day. Every year from now it will be known as the day I proved my parental love for my offspring and missed the 1st day of the season... (oh and #2's birthday)

All will be forgiven if a decent +18kt SW shows up tomoz!!!

Yeah, that was a bit cruel of me. Sorry.

I reckon that synoptic chart right now almost guarantees 18+ knots. I'll buy you a carton of beer if it doesn't (with seabreeze.com.au as my witness ).
