They taxed smoking to eliminate it and tax alchohol heavily to limit ist's use. This one is a dead cert as well!
Loggy, with all due respect, you dont do enough reading and its obvious now you know little about the subject and its consequences.
Look at the big picture, the devil is in the detail and that my friend is where you are lost and where they want you to be.
It's popularism and politically correct to be an alarmist, because all alarmists think we live in a Hollywood movie where everything turns out good in the end. Unfortunately life isnt like that, we all die and all our Sh!t stinks, even Jennifer Hawkins does big smelly ones and will stink up the room when she dies.
no one lives forever, the human race will eventually die out, there is nothing we can do about that, no matter what politicians and scientists say, we have no control over climate FFS absolutely none, but if you are a rich politician with a bunch of hungry scientists, the scientists will act like lawyers and tell you want you want to hear. Its politics, nothing else, you have been duped, go to bunnings, buy some wood, build a bridge, get over it!
Its about one world governance, Copenhagen was all about bringing us closer to a one world government, Mexico was a failure.
In a nutshell, its greenies gaining power and building bureaucracies for their cronies, so they all get welfare payments for turning up to their offices and red taping everything, much like any public service department, much like any ploicy maker, the difference with this its such a blatant lie and the consequences are massive wealth losses for a prosperous nation, we are about to hand over billions to make a bunch of ignorant people in their ivory towers make them feel better about themselves at huge cost to the masses, based on a huge lie and cherry picked facts.
We in the western world have been sheltered for so long we are so out of touch with reality, the sheeple actually do beleive the hollywood myth.
yeh I know about cloud seeding, but not sure how that actually effects the overall climate in general, I mean the areas they cover would be so miniscule, to only effect a tiny area at once, hence not having any over all effect on global weather patterns, will read your link though ;)
I'm not the best at speaking all sciency but I'll try and recall something I read in Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything.
About 100 years ago it was all the rage for scientists to investigate the cause of ice ages. It was discovered during this research that the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere was related to the amount of moisture the air could hold before reaching saturation, and that a small variation could make a big difference.
It's not a new concept that CO2 effects the climate. It has nothing to do with conspiracies or global governance. The carbon tax might not be perfect but it can be refined as time goes on. We can't just do nothing and hope for the best.
