Woodmans Pt WA in about 12m of water....

a friend took these photos yesterday (and no - its not a whale)...





I think that Woodmans Pt is mostly a kite spot so this fella might help reduce the WA kite population...

just another reason to make your gybe! I hit something soft off the northern most point once, just touched the fin, almost stoppped me completeley but as it was windy managed to pump the sail and kept going it was windy and choppy so hard to see, I went back and had a look but didnt see anything managed to keep going, could have been a cray rope, probobly was wasnt it?.............

I was going by the first pic, pretty hard to tell. Does look bigger in the second looking at the pectoral fin, maybe 4m. Really hard to tell without being there.

No mate the Woodie hippos are pink! I know, I saw many of them ! I was at anchor spending the night on my yacht, no no drugs involved only several bottles of tequila!

Hi Mate, I don't get it. You had your fishing rod ready. Why didn't you just fish this thing out on the deck to check out ?
