If you're a leftish now might be the ideal time to visit too, it's cold so you won't be reminded of global warming, less economic activity so less smog, less visitors so cheaper... www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g297437-Wuhan_Hubei-Vacations.html

A leftish favourite, it's Mao.

Been reading up on what the left have been trying to do... full on communism 2.0 under a green banner this time instead of the red hammer and sickle. I know enough about history to know their modus operandi and I think they pose the biggest threat to free society, Mao still very popular.

I'm not sure why there's so much panic about this virus. It's not much worse than the flu.

Interesting reading here:
www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/health-problems/four-creepy-coincidences-in-coronavirus-outbreak/news-story/db1ef59a6338e6e874a24b4212b347ff

In 2015, scientists in the US and China revealed they had created a "chimeric" virus by combining a coronavirus found in Chinese horseshoe bats with another that causes human-like severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in mice.

...

Fuelling conspiracy theories is the fact that two of the paper's co-authors, Xing-Yi Ge and Zhengli-Li Shi, were based at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, 30km from the suspected epicentre of the outbreak at the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market.

Thought it's a place without politics, unlucky. Also it's way worse than flu, are you kidding? Check the statistics for the total number of infected and death ratio.

I guess if you can't get access to medical help, due to lack of medical supplies, panic, martial law, access to food and everything Hollywood has predictively programed oneself how bad its going to get yeah it could get very bad any many may die.

Panic is what Billy G' and the likes of Epstein's cult whom he was liaising with probably wants, thus to carry out Bill and his fathers/ Globalist elites wishes to deal with depopulation and reduce CO2 at the same time Just shut up and take the vaccine may be the outcome of all this. Problem reaction solution, just you may get a little extra in the solution as WHO has recently let on at last years summit. Remember Billy Boy Loves you

www.infowars.com/bill-and-melinda-gates-foundation-others-predicted-up-to-65-million-deaths-via-coronavirus-in-simulation-ran-3-months-ago/

Event 201 Promotes Globalism As Solution To Pandemic In the video, Tom Inglesby of the John Hopkins Center For Health Security promoted globalism as a solution, saying, "there are problems emerging that can only be solved by global business and governments working together."

Further promoting globalism as an antidote to the hypothetical outbreak, participants in Event 201 proposed the following:

1: Governments, international organizations, and businesses should plan now for how essential corporate capabilities will be utilized during a large-scale pandemic.

2: Industry, national governments, and international organizations should work together to enhance internationally held stockpiles of medical countermeasures (MCMs) to enable rapid and equitable distribution during a severe pandemic.

3: Countries, international organizations, and global transportation companies should work together to maintain travel and trade during severe pandemics.

4: Governments should provide more resources and support for the development and surge manufacturing of vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics that will be needed during a severe pandemic.

5: Global business should recognize the economic burden of pandemics and fight for stronger preparedness. 6: International organizations should prioritize reducing economic impacts of epidemics and pandemics.

7: Governments and the private sector should assign a greater priority to developing methods to combat mis- and disinformation prior to the next pandemic response.

Once again, remember that all of this took place prior to the first documented report of the illness in late December of 2019. Outbreak Emanates From Chinese City With Controversial Lab The deadly virus, called the Wuhan coronavirus based on the Chinese city it emanated from, comes just years after a controversial lab was opened in Wuhan to work with the world's most dangerous pathogens.

As of January 15, the virus made its way to America with a man carrying the illness from Wuhan, China to Washington state. Now, a report out of Texas on Thursday claims officials at the Brazos County Health District are investigating a suspected case of the coronavirus. At the time of writing this article, the death total has reached 25 and the estimated number of people infected with coronavirus in Wuhan is around 4,000.

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Look To Develop Coronavirus Vaccine
But don't worry, the same globalists who own the patent to the virus and predicted its rise are "scrambling to develop vaccines for the deadly Wuhan coronavirus." According to Business Insider, "A coalition backed by Bill Gates is funding biotechs" who are attempting to develop a coronavirus vaccine. Is this illness being intentionally spread so governments worldwide can join forces in the name of stopping the virus, or so groups like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation can step in and become saviors, or is it all just a massive coincidence?

Get a grip Spotty. Giant coincidences happen all the time.

They enact a scenario or drill a few years ago of a pandemic with exactly the same virus as we are seeing today - its just a one in a million lucky guess

China has gone on the front foot on food hygiene in production after one of their largest meat producers had an salmonella outbreak. So I'd expect a similar approach now to the wet markets soon after this.

The Chinese are freaking out about this, so it'd be guessing the snake soups at the markets etc will be gone soon.

Its good that you have no idea or interest in science but you can still feel qualified to point out conspiracy theories. Everything must look like one to you as you don't care to try and understand how things work.

Seriously if someone wanted to engineer a virus and distribute it, we would all have it by now.

So far there have been about 120 deaths... worldwide.
SARS (2002/03) was approx 5000 infected and 800 deaths.

^These are annual figures for US only, normal flu.
From www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/index.html

Worldwide, "Normal Flu" annually kills an estimated 300,000 to 600,000
"Illnesses range from mild to severe and even death. Hospitalization and death occur mainly among high risk groups. Worldwide, these annual epidemics are estimated to result in about 3 to 5 million cases of severe illness, and about 290 000 to 650 000 respiratory deaths."
https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/influenza-(seasonal)

Given the above meme... I would wager Corona (the beer) is probably responsible for more annual deaths than Corona (the virus).

Hmmm, you seem pretty confident there...

www.nytimes.com/2020/01/29/world/asia/coronavirus-china.html

Word is that China hasn't been exactly giving accurate numbers.
One example is that people who have died from the coronavirus before being tested have had their causes of death put down to other things such as pneumonia etc.

Oh, and of course the flu has more deaths per annum than this new virus, derrr, the flu has global coverage. Wait to see what happens if this one goes fully global...

I agree. You can't exactly compare a 'normal' flu with one that spreads quickly and has a high mortality rate.

No challenge. Just point out how overly simplistic that statement you made was with no consideration as to the many reasons why we wouldn't 'all have it by now'.
If you don't understand why, there's no point explaining it to you.

Yes, I should use that defence too. 'If you don't understand why, I can't be bothered explaining it to you'. Used by thousands of idiots all around the world to not make the effort of explaining something or hiding their unjustified opinions.

While I am typing I may as well point out how easy it would be for someone with the ability to produce a dangerous virus to seed it at many many points around the world at the same time, and potentially circumvent any attempt at preventing its spread. Having it spread out from an origin is one thing to handle, but having it from many hundreds of points at the same time would be a disaster.

Confident? Not really... (NB the word 'about' is a give away), but I will use CDC and WHO figures over a newspapers... cause the media always tell the truth don't they...

As for "What is happening in China" vs "What isreportedas happening in China"... we can't even trust our own Govt to give the facts of the case and not spin the **** out of it, let alone believe anything from a historically isolationist country like China... being the source of 2 "major" virus outbreaks in 17 years.

As for worse than flu*... yes the flu is already out there worldwide, but it still kills 600 000 odd people a year (but we don't see any headline banners, "up to the minute" reporting (see above), face masks selling out, the usual bull**** showdown on the socials, about that figure throughout the year)...

The flu may have a lower mortality rate, but a far higher infection rate vs the low infection/high mortality of the new virus (again, see above regards the information from China as to what this virus does).
Its a bit like losing our collective minds because a couple of shark attacks happen and we end up with Sharknado Alerts on Fox News.

What's the ACTUAL risk to you!

I currently have a way higher chance of dying of Coronary Heart disease than Corona Flu (2019-nCoV)

I don't really give a toss whether I'm right or wrong... I provided some perspective... I'm just not going to get caught up in the current click bait hysteria about it... (although I'm sure Donald, Bojo and Scomo are happy for the distraction)

Yeah, its easy to say 'only 1 in so many people die from this'... but when its "you" its a very different perspective!

I wonder what the difference is with this Coronavirus in that you sort of expect the normal flu to be more dangerous to elderly people, or people with compromised immunue systems, but if the new virus is more agressive towards people with a decent immune system, that changes things.
