1st song reminded me of Marilyn Manson, didn't listen further when realised it was 36min
second video very Placebo.
good call on the placebo sound. I hadn't thought that until you mentioned it but can see it for sure.
first band classic my bloody valentine shoe gaze thing.
heard these guys on 96fm recently and sent JJJ a email for missing them. CD was hard to find but a JB hifi store had one sent over from another store whilst i was doing my shopping and had it there in 3/4hr Awesome service
yeah JJJ is crap but please don't start me on that one.
no need to go to the US for blues rock.
these guys are awesome live.
yes indeed billykiter!
these guys are insane live. also check out their first incarnation, the young and restless.
so glad confused got back together. did you get into international noise conspiracy? I've got a jazz album they released. it's pretty good stuff but they were mainly doing punk/ska stuff.
not sure if anyone is aware but dave grohl has another band. somewhat of a super group....... he plays bass in it.

yeah I love Sabbath. you will get plenty of love for them in this thread. I was lucky enough to see them 15-16 years go. not their hey day but impressive gig. Pantera and a few other bands were in the same line up.
it's interesting you got no love in that other thread because sabath started life as a blues rock band then quickly became the fore fathers of metal. they were influenced by led zeplin who played mainly blues and kinda took the zeplin thing and ditched the 12 bar riffs.
the guitarist in Sabbath became the guitarist in jethro tulls band. talking of brit blues rock motorhead are awesome.
I think cisco was saying something about music history. Sabbath were a seminal part of music history. they were part of the us/uk music circle of influence. Sabbath were copying bands that copied American blues and once they had developed their own art became the influence of American bands who took it further. foo fighters for example but the list is very long of people influenced by Sabbath.
I never really got into them until I started trying to play guitar. all of a sudden it made sense. never became that good on guitar tho.
